Hyderabad: 2BHK housing colony in Old Marredpally to be inaugurated on Mar 3

Hyderabad: The Old Marredpally 2BHK Housing Colony in the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency is slated for inauguration on March 3.
Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi, Secunderabad Cantonment MLA G Sayanna and others are expected to be present for the inaugural ceremony.
The colony spread over 5.18 acre comprises 468 dwelling units and has been built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 3,627 lakh. With a plinth area of 560 sft, the cost of each dwelling unit is 7.75 lakh, the 468 dwelling units are spread over 22 blocks and built in G+3 pattern.
The Old Marredpally 2BHK Housing Colony is equipped with CC roads, sewerage lines, electricity and sumps for drinking water, officials said.
