The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 at the designated centres. The examination is conducted in a pen-paper mode in 202 cities in the country and abroad. The candidates were to give the answers on an OMR sheet. As the examination is over at 05:00 pm, the paper analysis and unofficial answer key of all the questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are going to be shared.

The candidates who appear for NEET-UG 2021 can go through the analysis, difficulty level and responses shared by the candidates to media sources. According to the reports, the overall level of the NEET 12 September paper was easy to moderate, however, some of the questions from Physics and Biology were tricky.   

As scheduled, NEET (UG) 2021 exam has been held on Sunday, September 12. For the first time, the entrance test is held in 13 languages (English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Telugu, Urdu and Punjabi). Owning to the ongoing situations, proper safety measures were observed taken at the examination centres. Social distancing was observed at the centres in Delhi-NCR when asked students were seen satisfied with the arrangements made by the agency.

Ahead of the display of NEET UG 2021 official answer key at neet.nta.ac.in, coaching institutes like Aakash, Allen Kota, Bansal Classes, Resonance, etc. will release the NEET solutions.

Students were seen wearing face masks and obeying the dress code released by the NTA. Further, they were instructed to follow all the instructions and maintain discipline in the examination hall.

As far as the NEET 2021 paper analysis is concerned, the OMR-based exam consisted of 200 multiple choice questions (objective type). The aspirants had to attempt only 180 questions in a duration of 3 hours. The questions were asked from the CBSE syllabus of classes 11th and 12th. For every correct response, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidate, whereas, one mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt. No marks will be awarded for the unattempted questions, reads the NEET exam pattern.

Biology: Average to difficult level

Chemistry: Easy level

NEET UG 2021 official answer key, however, will be displayed by the NTA. In addition, the candidates will be given an opportunity to raise challenge, in case of any doubt in the answer key published on the website neet.nta.nic.in. Tentatively, the answer key will be published within 3 days of the exam, however, the exact date of display of the answer key will be available on the official website.

In order to an online challenge, the provisional key candidates have to pay a processing fee of 1000 per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated in the Public Notice.

Earlier, a day before the examination, some rumours were trending on social media claiming that the NEET paper was leaked. However, later the same was denied by the NTA releasing a public notice at website neet.nta.nic.in.
