Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G latest update brings more ‘RAM’ to the smartphone – Times of India

Samsung has started rolling out a new update for its recently launched Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone. The update brings the virtual RAM feature called RAM Plus to the smartphone.
The virtual RAM feature is among the most recent trends in Android smartphone space. Several Chinese smartphone makers like Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo have been doing this for a while and now Samsung too has joined the bandwagon with its RAM Plus feature.
The RAM Plus or virtual RAM feature is basically the memory paging feature that was there in Android for a long time, it only makes us wonder why smartphone makers choose to enable this feature in 2021.
Coming back to the RAM Plus feature of Galaxy A52s 5G, the smartphone can now get additional up to 4GB of additional virtual memory using the feature.
The update carries firmware version A528BXXU1AUH9 and is currently being rolled out in India. The update also includes camera stability and device stability improvements along with big fixes.
Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G recently went on sale in India. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G mobile processor and comes with up to 8GB RAM (this can now be expanded up to 12GB via RAM Plus feature).
