In a surprise move PM Narendra Modi today joined a virtual session with the CBSE students organized by the Ministry of Education. After cancellation of Class 12 exams CBSE board called a virtual session with the board students on Thursday afternoon. Students and parents joined the session and interacted with the Union Minister and other stakeholders on the issue. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the session and had a chat with the students and parents.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a surprise move joined a session with CBSE students organized by the Education Ministry today,” tweeted news agency ANI.
He also interacted with the parents of the students during the meet and had a chat with them on the issues and concerns of students & their parents, it added.

On Wednesday, a high level meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue of Class 12 Board exams. Meeting was attended by the government officials and stakeholders. It was later announced that the CBSE Class 12 board exams would be cancelled. A deliberation took place among stakeholders over the current situation due to the second wave of CoVID-19 pandemic. Prioritising the health of the students the decision of Cancellation of Class 12 Board Exams taken.
After the decision of cancellation of class 12 board exams students and parents from the different parts of the country reached out to social media and hailed the decision taken by the government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some of the responses he received from the students.
