KCR inspects Warangal MGM Hospital, assures all support to patients
Chief Minister instructed the officials to constantly monitor the oxygen and medicine supplies at the hospital to avoid any shortage
Hyderabad: Continuing his efforts to instill confidence among the Covid-19 patients and also take stock of the situation in various government hospitals, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday visited MGM Hospital in Warangal. He examined the facilities available at the hospital and assured the patients to provide the best treatment for their speedy recovery.
The Chief Minister arrived in Hanmakonda by helicopter on Friday afternoon. He headed directly to the MGM hospital where he inspected the Covid-19 wards including the general wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), emergency and out-patient wards at MGM Hospital. He directly interacted with the patients who are undergoing treatment, inquired about their health, food and treatment being provided at the hospital. He reassured them that all measures will be taken for their well-being. He also gave instructions to the health officials to resolve the issues brought to his notice by patients.
The Chief Minister also inspected the oxygen plant installed at the MGM Hospital. He instructed the officials to constantly monitor the oxygen and medicine supplies at the hospital to avoid any shortage. He also appreciated the services being rendered by the doctors, nurses and other medical staff.
He is scheduled to chair a meeting with the Heads of Departments and professors in the Academic block of the hospital. Later, he will visit the Central Prison of Warangal and examine the land proposed for allocation to Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University.
