Vivo Y30G with 5,000 mAh battery launched in China – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Vivo has expanded its Y-series of smartphones in China. The company has launched Vivo Y30G budget smartphone in the region. The smartphone comes with a notched display and sports a dual rear camera setup. It is powered by an octa-core processor and packs 8GB of RAM.
The Vivo Y30G comes in three colour options — Obsidian Black, Dwan White and Aqua Blue. The company has priced the smartphone at 1,499 yuan (Rs 16,700). The company has not yet revealed when the smartphone will launch in India.

Vivo Y30G comes with a 6.51-inch LCD HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB internal storage, users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Vivo Y30G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own OriginOS 1.0. The dual SIM smartphone also comes with Multi-Turbo 5.0 and Game Box 9.0 for improved gaming performance. The smartphone comes equipped with a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Y30G sports a dual rear camera with 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary camera. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge up to 68% in an hour.
Recently, Vivo slashed the price of its last year launched Vivo V20 smartphone. the base variant of the Vivo V20, which offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will now be available at Rs 22,990, making it cheaper by Rs 2,000. The price of the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant has also been reportedly slashed by Rs 2,000 dropping its selling price from Rs 27,990 to Rs 25,990.
